The Resurrection Of Hope Of The World

The celebration of Easter should be focused on the meaning of Christ's resurection. But I can really identify with the disciples. Jesus was betrayed to the Romans. The disciples ran away. When Jesus was crucified, they lost all hope. In the aftermath of the death of their messiah they feared for their own lives. What was to become of them? Then Jesus walked into that dark locked room and changed everything. That's what Easter is all about: the resurrection of life and the restoration of hope. Fourty days later they recieved the power of the Holy Spirit. Together those three things given through the Grace of God would change the world one man at a time. Over 2000 years later it's still changing lives.
